Incredible.. Limewashed floors and walls, divine leather door pulls, the dining chairs are made from old jeans and t-shirts, and that bed…. Hendrix is in lurve again.. A pad worthy of rockstar status.. images via Sothebys (it’s under contract, be quick)
Techné Architects are my new heroes with this incredible reno of the Prahran Hotel in Melbourne town.. Right around the corner from one of my favourite streets – where the good looking peeps hang – Chapel Street. Concrete Pipes form a massive wall to the street and also serve as booths… um, ah-mahzing. Incredible interior with greenery, industrial and recycled materials. Book me a flight, I’m moving in. This house would have to be the most genuinely ridonkulous house ever, however, it has slides between floors, a rainbow staircase and ludicrously coloured floors, therefore I love it. You’re welcome.
A period facade in South Yarra hides a genius design by Nixon Tulloch Fortey, industrial, colour and concrete. Genius. Images via http://australianinteriordesignawards.com/
