Friday Rockspiration Pip style..

I have a confession to make… I am mildly obsessed with Pip Edwards.. Ex-Ksubi & Sass & Bide and now Design Director  at General Pants, and one half of DJ’ing duo Chicks on Deck, this chick is seriously rockin, and you should be following her on insta – pip_edwards1 – if you’re not already. I hereby submit my case via images “borrowed” from instagram. Don’t even get me started on her gorgeous apartment, that’s a whole other post…

Prahran Hotel – PIPES!

Techné Architects are my new heroes with this incredible reno of the Prahran Hotel in Melbourne town.. Right around the corner from one of my favourite streets – where the good looking peeps hang – Chapel Street. Concrete Pipes form a massive wall to the street and also serve as booths… um, ah-mahzing. Incredible interior with greenery, industrial and recycled materials. Book me a flight, I’m moving in. biker jackets – in colour..

I’ve been on the hunt for a biker jacket for a while now, as “winter” descends here in Queensland, they’re the perfect thing to throw on over pretty much anything, as a change from the normal black or cream, I’m leaning towards a colour, considering that most of what I own is in fact, black.. I’ve found a few, ranging in price (from affordable to when you win lotto..)

Graffiti Tiles..

Today’s Hendrix post was made easy when I spotted these whilst watching House Rules on Channel 7 last night – anyone else watching? How cute is Sean? I want to clone him! Anywho, I digress, the bogan couple, Michelle & Steve surprised everyone when they pulled out these gems for the laundry wall of Nick & Chris’ Melbourne house, and they’re very, very Hendrix… Available from Beaumont Tiles
